IP Report & Takedown

If you believe a listing on the Crayonz marketplace infringes your copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right, this page is the fastest way to get it reviewed.

Last updated: 21 June 2026

Who can submit a report

The owner of the relevant intellectual-property right (or an authorised agent acting on the owner's behalf) may submit a report. Reports from third parties without authorisation will not be actioned.

What to send

Email hello@crayonz.ai from a verifiable address with the subject line "IP Takedown Request" and include all of the following:

  1. Your full name and a verifiable contact (email and, if possible, phone). If you are an agent, include the rights-holder you represent and proof of authorisation.
  2. The exact URL(s) of the infringing listing(s) on crayonz.ai.
  3. A description of the work, mark, or right you own that is being infringed. For copyright, link or attach the original work; for trademark, the registration number and jurisdiction; for any other right, the supporting documentation.
  4. A good-faith statement that the use of the work or mark in the listing is not authorised by you, your agent, or the law.
  5. A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the report is accurate, and that you are the owner of the right or an authorised agent.
  6. Your signature (digital is fine — a typed full name at the end of the email is accepted).

Incomplete reports cannot be actioned. We will reply listing what is missing so you can resend.

What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement within 24 hours. We confirm receipt and assign a reference number.
  2. Listing restricted pending review. Where the report is on its face complete and credible, we will restrict access to the listing while we review (typically the same business day).
  3. Notice to the creator. The creator who posted the listing is notified of the report and given an opportunity to respond.
  4. Decision and action within 15 days. We complete review and either remove the listing permanently, restore it (if the report was withdrawn or unsubstantiated), or request additional information. This timeline matches India's Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

Counter-notice (if your listing was removed)

If your listing was restricted or removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to hello@crayonz.ai with the subject "IP Counter-Notice". Include:

  1. The reference number from the original takedown email.
  2. The URL of the removed listing.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the listing was removed in error.
  4. Your full name and contact details.

We will review the counter-notice and respond within 15 days. If the original reporter does not initiate legal proceedings within a reasonable window after a valid counter-notice, the listing will be restored.

Repeat infringement

Crayonz operates a strike system. Creators with repeated, substantiated infringement reports will have their selling privileges suspended and, on a third substantiated report, their account terminated. Substantiated means the report was reviewed, the creator was given an opportunity to respond, and the listing was permanently removed.

Bad-faith reports

Reports made knowingly false, or made with the intent to suppress legitimate competition rather than protect a real right, may be referred to the relevant authorities. Submitting a takedown report under penalty of perjury is a serious legal statement; do not file one casually.

Other complaints

If your complaint is not about IP infringement (privacy, content quality, payments, account issues), please contact our Grievance Officer via the contact page instead.
