Most “custom t-shirt printing” in India is a quote form and a minimum of twelve. Crayonz is a price on the page, a design you can see on the actual garment before you pay, and a single piece printed after you order it. Type an idea and the studio drafts the artwork; or upload the file you already have.

Those are the base prices for a printed garment; a creator’s listing may be priced higher and the difference is theirs. Delivery is included on marketplace listings. There is no per-colour charge, no setup fee and no “sample” you have to buy first — the mockup in the studio is the sample.
How it works
- Describe or upload. In the studio, type the design in plain words — “retro sunrise over a ridge, three colours” — and get print-ready artwork in about a minute. Or upload your own PNG or JPG.
- Place it on the real garment. Pick the tee, the colour and the placement — front, back, pocket or sleeve. The mockup is the actual product photo, so what you see is what ships.
- Order one, or many. Choose size and quantity. Pay by UPI, card or cash on delivery.
- Printed after payment. Nothing is pre-printed and nothing is held in stock; your order starts the print. About 3 working days later it is at your door, with tracking by email.
Where the usual catch is, and why it isn’t here
Screen printing is cheap per shirt only after the screens are made, which is why a local printer quotes you a minimum. Print shops that do take single orders usually want a “print-ready” file — a specific size, a transparent background, a colour profile — and the shirt you get back depends on how well you guessed. Both models push the risk onto you.
Digital on-demand printing removes the screen, so a single shirt costs what a single shirt costs. The studio removes the file problem: it generates the artwork at print resolution, cuts the background, and keeps the design inside the printable area of the garment you picked, and upscales uploads to print size so a phone-camera file does not print soft.
The trade-off is honest: on-demand printing is not the cheapest way to print 500 identical shirts for an event. It is the cheapest way to print one, five, or twenty — and the only way to print a design nobody has committed to yet.

- How much does custom t-shirt printing cost in India?
- On Crayonz a printed Classic T-Shirt starts at ₹699 and an Oversized Terry Tee at ₹999, delivery included on listings. The price is per piece and does not depend on quantity, colours in the design, or number of placements you preview — you pay for the garment and the print you order.
- Is there a minimum order quantity?
- No. One t-shirt is a normal order. Traditional screen printers need a minimum because setting up screens costs the same for 1 or 100 pieces; digital on-demand printing has no setup, so there is nothing to amortise.
- How long does it take?
- Printing starts after payment and most Indian metro addresses receive the order in about 3 working days. Remote pin codes take a little longer. A tracking link is emailed when the parcel ships.
- Can I print my own design or logo?
- Yes. Upload a PNG or JPG in the studio and place it on the garment; a transparent, high-resolution PNG prints cleanest. You can also start from an AI-generated design and add your own text or logo on top.
