Creator guidelines

Every new listing goes into review before it is visible to buyers. An automated check scans the design for explicit content, hate symbols and obvious third-party brands or characters; a person then makes the decision. Most listings are live within 24–48 hours and you get an email when yours is approved.

If a listing is declined, the reason is shown on the listing in your dashboard. You can edit the design and resubmit — a decline is not a strike.

We will decline, or remove, a listing that contains:

• Someone else's intellectual property. Characters, logos, brand names, team crests, album art, film and game assets — Marvel, Disney, anime, sports teams, bands, fashion houses and the rest — unless you can show you are licensed to sell them.
• A real person's likeness or name used without their permission. Celebrities, athletes, politicians, influencers and private individuals alike.
• Hate. Symbols, slogans or imagery that attack people for who they are — caste, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality, disability — or that glorify groups built on that.
• Sexually explicit content or sexualised depictions of minors in any form, including drawn or AI-generated.
• Incitement. Content that promotes violence against a person or group, terrorism, or self-harm.
• Illegal goods and services promoted as such — drug sales, weapons trafficking, fraud.
• Deception. Fake endorsements, imitation of an official product, or election material designed to mislead about who made it.
• Anything unlawful in India, where every order is printed and shipped, or that breaches our Terms.

The studio itself may still draw some of these for your private use. Generating an image is not publishing it; these rules apply to what you put on sale.

• Your own original artwork, uploaded or drawn on the canvas.
• AI-generated designs you directed in the studio. You are the author of what you prompted and refined, and the agreement treats it as yours.
• Parody, commentary and satire that make their own point without reproducing a protected character, logo or mark.
• Fan-adjacent and community designs — a club, a batch, a fandom, a city — built from your own art rather than someone else's.
• Text-led designs, typography, slogans and quotes you wrote or that are in the public domain.

A design does not have to be serious to be allowed. Edgy, dark, weird and rude are all fine; the lines above are about rights, hate and harm, not about taste.

• Titles and descriptions describe the design. No keyword stuffing, no unrelated brand names to catch a search, no claims about the garment we cannot back.
• Tags match the design. They drive discovery for everyone; tags that lie make the marketplace worse for every creator.
• The preview is what prints. Do not edit the mockup outside the studio to show something the print file does not contain.
• Price at or above the base cost. The studio will not let you publish below it. Do not invent a “was” price you never charged.
• Print-ready artwork. Backgrounds removed where you intend a cut-out, text legible at print size, nothing important inside the last few millimetres of the print area. What you see on the canvas is what the printer gets.

Anyone can report a listing through the IP Report & Takedown page. We acknowledge a report within 24 hours and decide within 15 days. While a report is being reviewed the listing may be taken off sale.

A report is substantiated when it has been reviewed, you have had a chance to respond, and the listing has been permanently removed. Substantiated reports count as strikes:

• First: the listing is removed and you are told why.
• Repeated: your selling privileges are suspended.
• Third: your creator account is terminated.

If your listing was removed in error, send a counter-notice to hello@crayonz.ai within 15 days of the removal and we will review it. Earnings already credited to you are still paid out on the normal schedule regardless of a strike; a terminated account is paid its remaining balance, net of any refunds.

• One creator account per person. Payout details must be in your own name.
• You can archive a listing at any time from your dashboard; it stops selling immediately, and orders already paid for are still fulfilled.
• Keep your profile honest — the username, avatar and bio are shown on every listing you publish.
